She has won several awards with the NPR programs Justice Talking and Hidden Brain. She currently applies her vast experience to help others create their own story through podcasting.

Kara McGuirk-Allison is an award-winning public radio and podcast producer living in Annapolis, MD. From public radio stations, to NPR, to podcasting, Kara has over 25 years experience in storytelling, production and journalism. Her most recent work includes NPR’s Hidden Brain podcast as a founding producer, and a solo podcasting project called The Ghost In My Room. She is the creator of Podcasting 101, a summer camp held at the Key School for teenagers. Kara is also hosting the newly- formed Annapolis chapter of the Podcast Brunch Club.
Kara’s clients include individuals, educators and non-profits….all new to the podcasting landscape. Kara takes an honest approach to podcasting, and ensures the client has realistic metrics for success. |
